Hatha Yoga

Hatha represents opposing energies: hot and cold (fire and water, following similar concept as yin-yang), male and female, positive and negative. Hatha yoga attempts to balance mind and body via physical postures or "asanas", purification practices, controlled breathing "Pranayama", and the calming of the mind through relaxation and meditation. Asanas teach poise, balance and strength and are practiced to improve the body's physical health and clear the mind in preparation for meditation.

Meditation

Every Yoga session ends with a 15 minutes guided heart centered meditation.  We work on connecting with the heart as a tool for healing.  With the breath as a guide, we drop our mind's chatter, and connect with the Oneness of Love, Compassion, and Gratitude.  Those meditations are usually channeled, every session is different depending on those present in class and their needs.

 

Another meditation that we focus on and practice once a month as a group is The Meditation on Twin Hearts by Master Choa Kok Sui. This is a healing meditation to the person practicing it who becomes a conduit for peace and love across the planet.  It works on activating the heart for peace and love and gratitude by following the prayer of St. Francis of Assisi. Peace, love and illumination flood the earth and humanity.

Energy Healing
 
Energy Healing addresses all sorts of illnesses: physical, mental and emotional. Knowing that most diseases are emotional in origin, energy healing will help clear out our blockages allowing a clear flow of “Chi” or “Prana” in our bodies. The body’s natural ability to heal itself will then be accelerated. Energy healing sessions could be uplifting and relaxing.  A person may experience warmth or tingling sensations.  Often times an emotional release happens and a physical healing breakthrough is experienced.  Private in person sessions or long distance sessions can be arranged.
 

Pranic Healing is a system of energy medicine that works on balancing the energy body by assisting the body’s ability to heal itself. It’s a no-touch technique that has been extensively tested over a period of 30 years. The practitioner works on emotional, physical as well as mental and energetic ailments. Reiki is another form of energy healing that works on balancing and healing the body's energy centers or Chakras. Reiki is a widely known healing modality.  Spread to the west my Dr Mikao Usui.  It is a simple yet effective system.  Reiki pronouced "Ray- key" means Universal Life Force.  

Typically during an energy healing session, a person may experience tingling, warmth, or simple relaxation.  The body may immediately experience the effects when it's a simple ailment eg., a headache,  shoulder or back pain.  However, long standing physical and emotional issues may take several sessions to be cleared.  Both Reiki and Pranic Healing have proven to be highly effective in balancing the body and accelerating the healing process.  For testimonials about my energy healing sessions see below:
